Refund policy
At Childhood Gems, your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible at info@childhoodgems.ca, and we will do our best to help.
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase, excluding sale and custom-made items. To be eligible, products must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition in which they were received.
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5 business days.
Note: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning items, as we cannot be responsible for products that are lost or damaged during return transit.
Childhood Gems reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not meet the conditions outlined in our Return & Exchange Policy.
Exchanges After Placing an Order:
If you want to exchange an item after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please note that exchanges cannot be processed if your order has already been processed or if a shipping label has been created. We notify customers via email or SMS once an order has been processed. Providing accurate contact information for these notifications is the customer's responsibility.
Cancellation:
You can send a request to cancel an order within 24hrs. However, A 3% cancellation fee applies to orders canceled after placement due to credit card processing fees. However, no cancellation fee will be charged for orders canceled due to items being out of stock.
Damages:
Please email us at info@childhoodgems.ca within 2 calendar days from the delivery date. We will evaluate your case individually. Please provide proof of purchase and photos of the defect. You will receive full refund for the defective or incorrect items, if you wish not to receive a replacement.
Please note, we maintain video records of the packaging process for all orders.
Once we’ve received and investigated your case, we will notify you of the outcome. If the refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method if the issue was determined to be our fault. Otherwise, the refund will be issued as store credit only.
All seasonal sales are final.
